I feel like it's been so long since I posted and i checked and I haven't posted since January 7. The problem is I've been so wrapped up in wedding planning/procrastinating that I haven't really had time to even think about what to write. But sometimes you just want to write something. So here I am, in blogger post section, we'll see if I press publish on this one or just let it sit there for months and months in draft mode.

So what to talk about?

So much and so little all at the same time.

We've been planning a wedding.

We've been going to work like every one else.

I've been having wedding meeting. Actually have another one, this afternoon. with our day of coordinator.

I've been procrastinating on Project Life. i love looking back on the spreads I've made, but sometimes I am just not feeling it.

Waiting to see the rest of our engagement photos. We got a little sneak peek and I absolutely love them. We took them at Downtown Disney in Anaheim and it was so much fun.


March 4
So life is getting very exciting! We went apartment hunting on Saturday and it was slightly disappointing. Then on Sunday we went to check out a friends apartment complex and at first I was really hestitant becuase it's so far from my work (30 minutes, which is double my current commute), but then I fell IN LOVE. We go back tonight to check out the actually apartment we may be getting, so exciting! It is awesome and I can't wait to post pictures of what our new place looks like once we can finally start decorating. I hope this is the place for us and we can stop looking. SO EXCITED!


March 5
We applied for the apartment last night! I'm so excited! It's perfect and we get a walk-in closet! So exciting, I've never had a walk-in closet. It has the cutest little patio and it's fenced in with a gate. And there is so much counter top space! I'll be able to leave a few of the heavier appliances on the counter top. 

March 6
So I just got a call and we got the apartment! I'm so excited! Clint and I were talking last night and we decided I should move in first. So I'll be there for almost a month by myself. So exciting!

New Year's Resolutions 2013?

What do you think about New Year's Resolutions?

I've made them in the past. But this year, it's different. I definitely have goals I want to accomplish for the year (or at least the beginning), but I don't know if I want to call them New Year's Resolutions.

I've seen so many inspiring things online, but it's also so overwhelming, because I don't know which one will work for me. Which way is best for me and my life.

I started a new workout routine last Wednesday. I'm not ready to reveal what I've been doing, because if I can't keep it up, it's just a bad reminder. So far it's been fun. Let's see what happens this time next month.

I need to start doing one wedding related item a day or nothing will get accomplished.
I have emails to write, people to call, and vendors to meet with. So much to do and it's less than 4 months away.

Sometimes the lines get blurred. What's a to-do list item and what's really a goal?

#mileaday recap

If you did the #mileaday, congratulations! It's all done.

I wonder how many of you did just like I did, started out somewhat strong and then life got in the way.

There were days, I could have done it, but I just wasn't into it and then I had missed so many, I just kind of gave up. I even thought to myself, I should at least do the last day. And did that happen? No.

This has made me think about what else I have given up on because I didn't stick with it from day one. Resolutions for the new year are kind of like that. All or nothing. If we can't stick to it from the beginning, then why continue at all. I can always start again next monday, next week, next month or even next year.

I was looking on pinterest for some inspiration for fitness and I came across some really inspiring words. Here are a few of the pictures that inspired me.

This last one is super inspiration. I also was looking at links I had pinned and one of them said. When strength training, it takes about 6 weeks to start to see results. I'm getting married in 15 weeks. Hopefully, I can get into a routine I can keep for at least 15 weeks in order to look great at my wedding and get healthy overall for this new chapter in my life.

I'm not sure if this is what I want to do yet, but it's started me thinking. 

I may add an extra arm routine in there, just because the wedding dress is strapless.

But I'm excited to start this new routine. I was also excited to start #mileaday, hopefully I can find something I love like Danielle has found Crossfit.

I've been trying to exercise more since I started feeling better and that lasted all of one day.

Today, I was reading enJOY it and Elise was write about her mile a day challenge she did last year. And I've wanted to implement walking a mile whenever I get a chance. This challenge might be the push I really need to start exercising more regularly.

So here it is: from Thanksgiving until New Year's you run (or walk) a mile a day. Use the hashtag #mileaday and post your pictures using instragram. I may alternate between exercising inside and outside, but this is going to be a real challenge for me. Hopefully I can keep it up after the New Year, too!
